Track - Piano - Soccer

Today was the final track meet of the year for Parker. It was the big one with all the Jr. High schools (9) competing against each other. The 2-day event is called 'Alpine Days'. Parker was a little disappointed in his performance, but we still think he did really good. Just to qualify for it is great! He placed 13th in the 100, but a DNS in the 4x100 relay thanks to a teammate not showing up (nice!, but he was able to perform at his piano recital because of that, which made Darci and Blake happy). We don't know the results of the long jump yet, but there was a guy from Lehi that jumped 16'6"! Crazy! For the season, Parker had two 1st place finishes in the long jump, a 2nd place finish in the 100, and a 1st and 2nd place finish in the 4x100 relay.

Blake, Landen and Parker all performed in a piano recital last night. This is the first time they have all been in the same recital, thanks to Blake now taking lessons from Mrs. Steele too. He was pretty excited about that. They all did a great job! Blake did the cutest formal bow after he was done, but my video ran out just before it. Ugh! Hopefully I can figure out how to get the other videos on here.

Landen's soccer tournament started on Monday, and they've won their first 2 games! It is a huge accomplishment for them even to qualify for the tournament, for last season they didn't even win one game. They have a semi-final game on Saturday/tomorrow, and if they win, they go to the finals. We wish we could go see the Real Salt Lake soccer game tomorrow because they are playing the L.A. Galaxy w/ David Beckham.
