October flew by so fast!  Parker turned 15 on the 29th, and is studying to take the test for a learners permit.  He's still in football - big semifinals game tomorrow - GO VIKINGS!!!  And he's going to try out for the Freshman basketball team.  Good luck Parker!  

Landen finished up Soccer this month, and also finished up his swimming merit badge.  He had a fun bike ride campout too.  He also gets to run the score board up in the booth during Parker's football games.

Blake finished up flag football, and is still playing basketball.  He's doing great in school and is the best in his class in math.  Blake played 'Called To Serve' in a piano  Hymn recital.  

Darci learned how to make a super great bread recipe with liquid lecithin, and makes it 2x/week.  Yes, it's that easy!  Even Landen and Blake can make it.  She also learned how to can salsa - also really easy!  

Craig helped out with a football fundraiser Luau and made up all the ticket packets (600!).  Unfortunately, we were gone during the Luau.  He also coached Blake's flag football team, and runs the game clock at Parker's football games.  (and our family can sit in the booth with him!).

Blake is a football player today for Halloween.  Landen is a Clone Trooper (Star Wars), and Parker is a paintball guy...??  Darci's still deciding between an FLDS woman or a golfer that got hit in the forehead with a golf ball.  Craig has a funny blow-up suit that looks like he's a bull rider on a bull.  I think we're going to get a warm Halloween this year - yeah!

Craig and Darci went to Puerto Rico a few weeks ago with Todd and Carolina Wuergler.  Sadly, we didn't get to go scuba diving due to weather.  Even had hurricane Omar come on through.  Stayed at a super nice resort - The Gran Melia.  However, got bit by bed bugs.  Yuck!  The bites take forever to go away and won't stop itching!  Not an ideal trip, but still fun.  The rain forest was awesome!  As were the old Forts.  Did a lot of shopping and eating due to all the rain.  (If you're ever in PR, in Old San Juan, eat at Sofia's - the best Italian food ever!  ok, well, maybe not compared to in Italy).
